Your meetings already
wrote the Jira tickets.

MEET2JIRA reads your meeting transcripts, pulls out real action items with owners and priority, checks for duplicates, files them in Jira, and pings your team in Slack — automatically.

How it works

Seven steps from spoken words to a Slack ping.

MEET2JIRA runs a real, ordered pipeline. You stay in control at the review step — nothing reaches Jira until you approve it.

1

Pick a meeting

Open the dashboard and choose any recent meeting. MEET2JIRA lists what's available with recording and transcript status.

2

Pull the transcript

Transcripts are retrieved automatically from Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, or Fellow — no downloading files or pasting text.

3

Clean it up

Filler, cross-talk, and timestamps get normalized into clean, speaker-attributed text the model can reason over.

4

Extract action items

The model finds real commitments, assigns the likely owner, infers priority, and keeps the surrounding context for each one.

summary · owners · priority
5

Review before anything ships

A clean review screen shows the summary and every proposed task. Edit owners, tweak wording, or drop items you don't want.

6

Create in Jira

Approved items become Jira issues in one click — after a duplicate check so you don't file the same ticket twice.

7

Notify the team in Slack

MEET2JIRA posts a summary with links to every new issue in your chosen channel, so the whole team sees the follow-ups instantly.

Features

Built to be trusted with your backlog.

Extraction is only useful if the output is clean, deduplicated, and yours to approve. That's the whole point.

Meeting summaries

Every transcript gets a tight summary of what was decided — readable in seconds, no scrubbing through the recording.

Action items with owners

MEET2JIRA separates real commitments from chatter, then attaches the likely owner and priority to each one.

Semantic duplicate check

Before creating anything, it compares new tasks against existing Jira issues by meaning — not just matching words.

Editable review screen

Nothing is automatic-and-forgotten. Rename, reassign, reprioritize, or delete tasks before any reach Jira.

Slack notifications

The moment issues are filed, your channel gets a summary with direct links — follow-ups never sit in a silo.

Four transcript sources

Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and Fellow are supported out of the box — bring whatever your team already records with.

Use cases

Wherever decisions get made out loud.

Any meeting that ends with "someone should do X" is a meeting MEET2JIRA can turn into tracked work.

Engineering

Standups & sprint planning

Capture every commitment made in the room and file it against the sprint before anyone forgets who owns what.

Customer teams

Client & discovery calls

Turn customer requests and promised follow-ups into tracked tickets, so nothing said on a call slips through.

Reliability

Incident retros

Every "we should fix this" from a post-mortem becomes a real action item, routed to the right owner automatically.

Product

Design & product reviews

Decisions and change requests from reviews land as issues with context attached, not buried in someone's notes.

Leadership

Cross-team syncs

Action items get split by owner and pushed to the right people, so alignment meetings actually produce movement.

Managers

1:1s & check-ins

Track follow-ups from one-on-ones without turning the conversation into a note-taking exercise.

Slack notifications

Then it tells the team.

The second issues are created in Jira, MEET2JIRA posts to the Slack channel you choose — with the meeting summary and a clickable link to every ticket.

No one has to hunt for what was assigned. The follow-ups show up where your team already works.

Duplicate detection

It catches the ticket you already filed.

Two meetings, same problem. MEET2JIRA recognizes when a new action item means the same thing as an open issue — and flags it instead of creating clutter.

Same intent, different words

"Fix the login timeout" and "resolve auth session drop on sign-in" are the same work. Keyword matching misses it. MEET2JIRA compares meaning, so your backlog stays honest.

When a match is found, the item is flagged in review with a link to the existing issue — you decide whether to skip it or file anyway.

Stop taking notes to track work.

Connect one meeting and watch it turn into a reviewed, deduplicated set of Jira issues — with the team notified in Slack. That's the whole demo.
